Performance tickets and festival passes are non-refundable! Community Events are free and open to the public.  

See below for this years events!  We will continue to add more events leading in to this season, keep looking for an updated list and for any changes!  Vermont Performance Lab’s Open Lab coincides with this year’s festival.  VPL is offering an Open Lab during SVDF and we want to make sure to get you involved!  The open lab will be Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 3.  Details below!  Check out our complete schedule!

Sister Moses at the Latchis; Story of Harriet Tubman

OVERVIEW:  Excerpt of the full length work that depicts the Story of Harriet Tubman. It is a beautiful story of a courageous woman’s determination to free her people from slavery through the Underground Railroad. She was one of America’s first liberated women of color, who fought against all odds for the sake of freedom and equality. Our goal in producing this program is to bring light to the incredible accomplishments of the anti-slavery activist, Harriet Tubman.

Midsummer Night’s Picnic at Scott Farm (Includes Promenade Performance)

OVERVIEW: For the first time ever, SVDF will be offering a picnic with live music to enjoy a late summer afternoon.  Those picnicking will be among the first to do our outdoor promenade performance that will take you through the grounds of Scott Farm and The Stone Trust to see multiple stunning works from 10 choreographers that would normally be exhibited on a proscenium stage.  This evening performance is among our most magical almost like a dance dream on a mid summer night.  The evening does involve walking, bring your walking shoes.

NOTE:  There will be NO parking at the house. We will have a shuttle available.
